Mesa Marin Raceway, where he backe the first dirver to win the track championship and Rookie of
the Year in the same season. In 18 main events, Mayhew won eight times and recorded 14
top-three finishes.
- Finished third in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series Sunbelt Region behind National
Champion Greg Pursley and Dvaid Beat.
- 2003 - Compete in his first stock car race in Late Model Division at Bakersfield's

end 75-lap event, placing second.
